This pour-back came with a concern by the tenant that incorrect concrete installation would lead to a problem replacing the tile, and ultimately keep the business closed longer. To ensure the tile guys had enough room for thinset and tile installation without creating a hump, I placed and finished this large patch 1/16 below existing grade ensuring a smooth tile job and a re-opening as soon as possible.
